Man Shoots Woman and 3 Girls is Convicted Murderer – Tennessee | RedCowHills

(WKRN) MADISON, Tenn – Metro police are searching for a 39-year-old convicted murderer who is being charged in a shooting that injured multiple people at a Madison apartment Friday afternoon.

The shooting was reported around 2:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Brink Haven Avenue off of Gallatin Pike.

Earnest Woodley, also known as Earnest Moore, was in the process of moving to Memphis with his 34-year-old girlfriend Nicole Luke when they stopped by his cousin’s apartment.

Luke’s twin daughters, 14-year-olds, went inside with the couple while Luke’s third daughter, a 15-year-old, stayed inside the car.

While inside the apartment, Woodley and Luke got into an argument. Woodley pulled out his gun and shot Luke and her twin daughters before opening fire on the third daughter waiting in the car.

All four victims were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where they are listed in stable condition.

There were three other children inside the apartment at the time of the shooting, including Woodley and Luke’s 3-year-old daughter and Woodley’s cousin’s children, two boys ages seven and 13.

None of the other children were harmed.

According to police, Woodley then fled on foot into a wooded area.

He is described as five feet, eleven inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. When he ran away, he was barefoot and wearing blue shorts with a gray T-shirt.

Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities reported that Woodley has multiple felony convictions out of Shelby County for charges including second degree murder, aggravated assault and cocaine possession. He was on parole until 2010.

Arrest warrants have been issued and Woodley is being charged with four counts of attempted homicide and four counts of aggravated assault.
